Laura’s vision was a joy – she wanted to be inspired by the season and was delighted to incorporate textures and natural elements. We wanted to create something that thoughtfully built on the couple’s visions while making the most of the features at The Cow Shed.
Our mission was to add warmth and drama with a playful, whimsical edge. We wanted to help take their guests on a journey so that every time they entered a new space or transitioned between areas, a floral feature was revealed to feel like it was almost part of the venue itself.
In terms of colour, we landed on the most beautiful palette of nudes, rusts, toffee, salmon pinks, terracotta, heady burgundy, chocolate hues, rich greens, and delicate creams.
Fresh foliage and florals were mixed with dried texture details for added depth. Laura was also happy to embrace our love of sticks & branches.
One of the most standout pieces was the creation of a tree sculpture which became a living seating plan – made from moss, potted plants, and cut branches. This design took on a life of its own and created a real wow moment. We are so grateful that Laura trusted us to bring this concept to life.
