Creatives, makers, florists, designers and detail obsessives

We have surrounded ourselves with those who are passionate, down to earth, a little rebellious, artistic, and pretty damn cool. They are all wonderfully different, and it is the sum of these parts that allows us to offer such a comprehensive service.

Jean – Creative & Managing Director

Logistics hero, guardian of the diary, keeper of the spreadsheets, and advanced level van packer. She indeed keeps this show on the road, but Jean is so much more than that. Her smile is infectious, and her emotions run deep – she will well up when you share your story. She spreads joy and hugs wherever she goes – a little ray of kick-ass sunshine. Jean’s signature style is earthy, nerd chic, all tied up with a love of natural elements and textures. Her passions also run to excellent coffee, books, and jumpsuits.

She always wants to help and is always looking for ways to support others and make life a little easier.

Kate – Creative Director & Floral Designer

Banned from touching spreadsheets and the diary, Kate puts her talents to better use in the field. She heads up the floristry side of the business and can normally be found surrounded by sweet smelling locally grown flowers and foliage, up ladders creating floral hanging masterpieces and planning with our gorgeous floristry clients.  A powerhouse when it comes to most things, but will soften at the mention of her family, morning work outs and Dolly Parton’s back catalogue.

Kate’s style is wild, romantic, and a little unruly. She is motivated by tea, stripes, dungarees and is a happy follower of the leopard print cult. She may be small, but she is mighty.

Ange – Lead Stylist

We have been trying to convince Ange to work for us for years, and FINALLY she said yes. We fell in love with her and her work the first time we saw her designs.  A maker, a problem solver and a mid-century furniture lover.  Proudly and fiercely passionate thanks to her Italian heritage, Ange is an artist with a background of design roles for Anthropologie, Topshop Oxford Circus and John Lewis.  Used to pulling together hand made jaw dropping displays for massive events like Fashion Week, she is the perfect person to have on board designing the look and vibe of your day.

A fan of Prince, anything disco or funk & soul, wandering around Scotland, Ray Eames, 90’s RnB, kayaking and all things interiors.  Lock down turned her into a gardener and she is not mad about it.

Lauren – Stylist

Warm and generous with her time, she makes everyone feel at ease.  Lauren studied Fine Art Textiles and is a maker at heart, happily taking on daily craft projects. Her obsessions include bold fabrics, oodles of textures, and houseplants (which she does not kill). In her styling projects, you can expect a love of colourful neutrals, a lean towards Scandi simplicity, and a love of curious shapes.

A former primary school teacher, Lauren is characterised by her natural enthusiasm, superpowers of organisation, trouble-shooting skills, and supportive, caring manner.

One significant point to mention about Lauren is that she is one of our original Brides. Her wedding was incredible – you know the one – Jurassic Park without the dinosaurs!

Betsy – stylist

An infectious smile with a very creative brain, that’s our Betsy! Betsy has many years experience working for brands creating amazing displays for retail spaces and events. She is also a very talented visual merchandiser with all the skills to create those stunning tablescapes with a wow factor.

Cool, calm and collected in character, Betsy is an excellent problem solver with many creative tricks up her sleeve and an impressive collection of power tools to get the job done. Add to this a keen eye for the small details, including a freakish skill at cutting the straightest lines with fabric scissors and you get the perfect package as the stylist for your day.

When she’s not creating amazing things Betsy can be found having adventures in her fab converted van exploring the country and climbing with her partner Max and Ted the dog.

Hazel – Styling Administrator

Quietly confident, always calm under pressure, and committed to being there until everything is perfect. Hazel is a creative force with a head for organisation, and a passion for attention to detail. She joined us following a career in fashion and visual merchandising. A new cat ‘mom’, jewellery maker, and recently been on her own ‘bride to be’ journey, meaning she just gets it.

Hazel loves to escape and explore Scotland and isn’t shy of the odd mountain climb. Her and husband David are busy doing up their first home, so she’s waving her stylist magic wand at home as well as at work. Worth noting, she’s the only member of the team that can’t be bribed with coffee. Sweeties. That’s the way to go.

Jessica – DESIGNER

She is wise, talented, an expert problem solver, and the queen of precision. Jessica has been our go-to gal for the longest time and is an essential cheerleader. Her words of encouragement and belief in this business have made us what we are today. She never flaps and is calm to the core, helped by her love of yoga and running by the sea.

Her passion is for modern and effortless style – a minimalist at heart, she can cut through the fuss and create simplicity with clean lines, plays on texture, and quiet drama. Most likely to say ‘We can make that’. You will find her expanding her knowledge of Scottish words and upcycling vintage chairs by painting them in her signature black.

The Crew

It’s not just us – we also work with a great team of freelancers. Always working hard in the background, rarely questioning the crazy stuff we ask them to do. This team of lifesavers pack, unpack, lift, fetch, deliver, polish, build, and create. We could not do this without them, and we are grateful for them every working day. Always willing to lend a hand and go the extra mile. They can most definitely be bribed with coffee and doughnuts.
