Feeling Peachy?

Hello you! Welcome back, pull up a chair and let’s chat about our favourite wedding styling trends we’re seeing for the busy 2024 wedding season ahead…

As we’ve wrap up a busy 2023 spring/summer/Autumn wedding season, we say thank you to our latest seasonal trends of what we like to think of as the ‘Tutti Frutti Disco Era’. We loved seeing funky 70’s colour palettes straight out of Studio 54 days with the strong, Magenta Viva, Pantone colour of the year, splashed across this wedding season with silver, shimmery disco balls and bright red, tangerine, yellow, greens and blues. Even if couples didn’t want such a bold wedding day palette for their big day, you couldn’t attend a hens party, bridal shower or engagement celebration in 2023, without there being a pair of heart sunnies, sparkly disco balls, delicious fruity elements and magenta pink or citrus orange cowboy hat somewhere nearby and we for one, were not mad about it!

Peach Fuzz was named the official Pantone colour of the year for 2024 and we are officially crushing on that but before we focus on that delicious cousin of apricot and blush. We wanted to shout out, to an extension of the 2024/25 colour palette that we’re now seeing, straight from the New York Fashion Week runways is a mix of: digital lavender, cyber lime, fondant pink, nutshell brown and element blue, just to name a few. We look forward to playing with these colour combinations for some special events coming up in next years wedding season.

We’re feeling peach’y keen with our new obsession from these sweetly, colourful features from special weddings around the globe! As you can see, there are so many ways you can add a pop of peach in to your wedding colour palette to keep it on trend: stationary, signage, flowers, ribbons, bridal party outfits, linen, wedding cake icing, using the fruit itself in styling, peach jam wedding favours, welcome cocktails..we really could be here all day listing out ideas! We did warn you we had a little crush…but aftr looking at these inspo pics, can you blame us?

Yeah, didn’t think so!

Stay tuned on our upcoming blog posts in 2024 where we identify trending markets within the wedding industry of things we are loving! Until then dear friend, keep an eye out on our Instagram to see the latest on what our Gloam team are up to.
