A wedding fit for an ethereal fairy tale…
It was evident from the moment we met Jon & Zoe that their wedding vision was impeccable. From their luxurious choice of wedding venue, the stunning Glenapp Castle in the heart of Ayrshire, to her breathtaking, ethereal wedding dress and unbridled love for lush and abundant florals. We were so excited to create their dream whimsical Scottish wedding, with them.
A Whimsical Scottish Wedding – The Ceremony
Zoe chose a whimsical low level crescent shaped backdrop, created from oodles of seasonal flowers and verdant greenery, which gracefully curved around the couple, providing a romantic and intimate setting. The design was low enough to maintain an unobstructed view of the picturesque Scottish landscape while enveloping the couple in a floral embrace. Two overflowing meadows placed at the beginning of the aisle echoed the altar and ensured guests also felt as if they were sitting in the flowers, making everyone feel a part of the magical setting.
A Whimsical Scottish Wedding – The Reception
All the ceremony elements were moveable and our team were able to repurpose these details within the castle after the ceremony, building even more impact within the intimate dining space. In the reception space, there was a fireplace installation and an organic, curated collection of vases of varying heights, featuring their colorful floral palette in abundance on the tabletops. Our team added a collection of elegant candlesticks to provide a romantic flicker, finishing off the intricate and whimsical design.
