A celebration from before. Before things got so hard and plans got turned upside down. One of our go-to good memories, Danny and Nic and their CowShed Crail wedding, makes us feel happy, very happy.

A Scottish barn wedding at its best.

The vision

Danny and Nic knew what they wanted and how they wanted their guests to feel for their Cowshed Crail wedding. It was essential to the couple that the decor reflected their well-chosen venue. They wanted lush greens, neutral tones, and hints of wood, metal, and concrete. The finished look – paired back minimal with an industrial edge and a touch of boho.

Bringing the Boho

To help with that laidback, relaxed vibe and add a touch of whimsical boho, we created a pathway of vintage rugs, seating areas with rattan and leather pouffes, finished off with well-placed pops of fluffy pampas.  With our full design package, clients have access to the full range of furniture and decorative pieces we stock.

The signage and stationery

The industrial feel came from the modern signage, our metal grids, which showcased the seating plan, and our neon sign. And one of our favourite touches was the statement ‘D & N’ on show behind the bar.

And those all-important softer details included the soft grey runners and napkins on the long trestle tables, lashing of eucalyptus, gatherings of plants, the glow of candlelight, and the romantic flowing fonts used on the place cards and table numbers.

We’re pretty sure you’ll understand why we love this celebration so much. Here are some more shots of this wonderful pair and their day…because they are so gorgeous. Mainly non decor related but LOOK AT THEIR FACES.
