Josh and Amanda traveled to Scotland to the impressive Thirlstane Castle for their destination autumnal wedding, creating a weekend filled with celebrations amidst the dramatic grounds and the castle’s grandeur. The couple envisioned an elegant and luxe atmosphere, beautifully complemented by the soft hues of early autumn. Amanda looked like an absolute goddess in her ethereal wedding dress, perfectly capturing the romantic aesthetic they desired.
They skillfully balanced the moody ambiance of the large stone castle with soft, romantic elements. From the grand stone staircase to the meticulously arranged tablesettings, every detail reflected their love for beautiful florals. The cocktails and food were thoughtfully chosen, and the dance floor was adorned with an incredible foliage installation, adding to the enchanting atmosphere.
The Gloam design team was thrilled to help the couple transform the castle into their own enchanting haven for the weekend. By incorporating lush foliage, delicate seasonal florals, soft linens, flickering candles, and carefully selected tableware, we added to the venue’s dreamlike ambiance.
We were fortunate to collaborate with Timeless White Wedding Planners and the Culinarians on catering. Their expertise and attention to detail elevated every aspect of the celebration—and they’re also wonderful humans.
