Barnbougle Castle, a historic tower house on the southern shore of the Firth of Forth, proved to be the perfect backdrop for Whitney and Matthew’s Scottish destination wedding celebration. Traveling to the UK with their closest friends and family, the couple beautifully combined the city chic of Edinburgh with the grandeur of this stunning venue.
Following an intimate church service, Whitney and Matthew made their way to the impressive castle, ready to continue their festivities. Whitney envisioned floral design that was classic, simple, and romantic. The soft colour palette featured whites, creams, and delicate hints of blush.
Each bridesmaid carried a posy of a single flower type, contributing to the understated elegance of the day. The couple’s dinner tables were adorned with single stem roses in cut glass bud vases, elegantly interspersed with candlelight. This gentle yet stunning approach to styling perfectly complemented the castle’s historic setting.
It was a joy to partner with Jamie from Timeless White Wedding Planning for this celebration. The photography by We Are the James’s captured the elegance and intimate moments of the day.
Whitney and Matthew’s celebration at Barnbougle Castle was a perfect blend of sophistication and warmth.
