An intimate destination wedding in the heart of Scotland
We had the pleasure of creating an intimate welcome dinner for Megan and Ali, surrounded by their closest friends and family at the beautiful Birkhill Castle, located on the banks of the River Tay—just a short distance from St Andrews, Scotland.
In the heart of the elegant dining room, we designed an abundant floral meadow that served as a centerpiece for a beautifully squared-off table. The vibrant modern florals, featuring a soft palette of pinks, deep greens, berry tones with hints of lime, and delicate whites, brought life and texture, creating a romantic and heady atmosphere that complemented the breathtaking views of the castle grounds.
For small gatherings like this, it’s all about embracing the details. We layered textures and luxurious elements to enhance the intimate setting, ensuring that every aspect resonated with warmth and elegance. Our dark wood bentwood chairs were the perfect finishing touch, beautifully offset against the soft linens.
Megan and Ali booked our floristry and tablescaping design services to achieve this look. The design harmonised beautifully with the menu curated by the talented team at the Culinarians, and the evening was captured in stunning detail by photographer Luke Bell, all under the expert guidance of Jamie from Timeless White.
