Pampas grass can add both a modern and boho look to your celebration. We’re BIG fans of using this gorgeous ornamental grass in our wedding styling work. It’s so versatile; you can go for statement creations or just add a stem here and there. It suits the Scottish landscape so well and since it’s dried we can reuse the stems we have making it a firm favourite in our eco conscious floristry work. CREATE A STATEMENT ENTRANCE BY USING PAMPAS GRASS IN YOUR WEDDING STYLING
These stems of pampas grass are like beautiful starbursts and add interest, texture and drama. We installed these at one of our favourite Scottish barns – The Cow Shed Crail.
REFLECT YOUR LOCATION
We used simple stems of pampas grass for this stunning outdoor ceremony at High Wards, Loch Lomond. By reflecting the surrounding wild grasses we were able to frame the stunning view and create a natural look.
BEAUTIFULLY BOHO CEREMONY BACKDROP
We created this statement ceremony backdrop at Kinkell Byre, St Andrews. The bride wanted drama, romance and something which softened the industrial features of the venue. We dressed our apex arch with an unruly mixture of pampas (some of which we dyed blush pink), eucalyptus, palm leaves (which we sprayed gold) and a handful of other textural greenery.
ADD A MODERN TOUCH
We took this modern Perspex sign next level by enhancing it with a mixture of fluffy pampas grass and fragrant eucalyptus. This created a stunning juxtaposition between the styling and the historic Errol Park Estate, Perthshire. STATEMENT DETAILS FOR YOUR PAMPAS GRASS WEDDING STYLING
We designed this ‘Southern California Chic’ table-top for a recent showcase. We went for a muted but rich colour palette and lots of natural textures. The pampas grass works well with other dried grasses and certainly adds the wow factor.
TURN RUSTIC STYLING TO CHIC STYLING
Our final suggestion on how to use pampas grass as part of your wedding styling, is by adding big bundles! Nothing turns this vintage staple into something more modern, and chic like pampas. We set these up at the epic Guardswell Farm, Perthshire.
