Brands and Spaces
The project began with a large-scale installation welcoming visitors into the distillery before evolving into a collection of bespoke pieces throughout the building, including the bar and guest accommodation. Drawing inspiration from the layered stone formations that informed the architecture, we developed a contemporary interpretation of the island's machair landscape using carefully preserved botanicals selected to reflect Raasay's natural palette. Working with varied depths, textures, and organic materials – including barley, broom, stone, and reclaimed cask elements – the installations create a sense of movement while feeling intrinsically connected to both the building and the surrounding landscape.
Nestled on the Isle of Raasay, this award-winning whisky distillery and visitor centre offered the opportunity to create a series of permanent botanical installations that celebrated both the landscape and the architecture of the island.

Designed with sustainability and longevity in mind, the installations were created to complement the restaurant's welcoming interiors while feeling light, organic, and impactful. Inspired by wild meadows and rolling landscapes, we combined preserved wheat, oats, grasses, broom, and dried botanicals to create flowing ceiling canopies that weave naturally between the pendant lighting. Across the restaurant, each installation was thoughtfully tailored to its setting, from an intimate, garden-inspired feature in the snug to a sculptural branch installation above the stairwell and botanical accents throughout the dining areas. Together, the pieces create a cohesive environment that feels calm, abundant, and connected to the character of the space.
Permanent botanical installations created for the new home of Hendersons, one of Edinburgh's most iconic vegetarian restaurants, bringing warmth, texture, and a lasting sense of nature throughout the dining spaces.

Working alongside Burns Design, we developed a collection of installations that connected the exterior façade with the café's interiors, creating a cohesive experience from the moment guests arrived. Inspired by Valaria's soft colour palette of creams, pistachio greens, blush pinks, and lilacs, the botanical designs were created to feel as though they had naturally grown around the architecture. A statement floral façade draws attention from the high street before giving way to layered dried floral canopies suspended from the ceiling, their undulating forms adding movement and depth above the café. The design continues through sculptural floral details surrounding the arched mirrors and carefully placed botanical arrangements throughout the space, resulting in an environment that feels elegant and immersive.

Working closely with the interior design vision, we developed a series of immersive botanical installations spanning both the interior and exterior of the venue. The concept balanced lush, layered greenery with bold accents of neon pink, creating a playful contrast against the building's industrial architecture. Repeating a curated palette of foliage throughout the space established cohesion, while oversized botanicals introduced movement and moments of surprise. Suspended high above the dining areas, cascading installations extend into the space below, softening the architecture and creating an atmosphere that feels vibrant, immersive, and full of life.
A large-scale installation project for one of Edinburgh's most vibrant food destinations, designed to bring warmth, energy, and botanical character to over 900 square metres of dining and social space.

Edinburgh Street Food
Created as a feature running the full length of the café's banquette seating, the installation was inspired by the untamed beauty of a wild meadow. A carefully curated mix of preserved grasses, teasels, achillea, and dried botanicals introduces a rich variety of texture, shape, and movement, while subtle shifts in height and scale create a composition that feels both natural and sculptural. Designed to appear as though it emerges organically from the seating itself, the installation transforms a simple architectural feature into an immersive focal point, adding character and softness to the café's inviting atmosphere.
