A NEW NAME AND LOOK – HERE’S WHY

When we launched The Little White Cow over four years ago, we had NO idea it would grow into what it is now. From just the two of us, one shipping container and a Ford Focus, our fledging start-up has become a collective of talented, hardworking, creative souls.

With three additional stylists and a whole warehouse of dreamy furniture treasures, we have become a safe space for modern romantics, like you, to talk about and create the wedding you have always wanted.

WE STARTED TO FEEL THAT OUR CURRENT BUSINESS DESIGN AND OUTLOOK DIDN’T CAPTURE HOW WE FELT ANYMORE. IT JUST WASN’T REFLECTIVE OF WHAT WE’VE GROWN INTO.

WE’VE BEEN ON A JOURNEY TO REALLY DEFINE AND DISCOVER WHAT IT IS WE STAND FOR AND HOW WE CREATIVELY BRING THOSE VALUES TO LIFE.

It has been a labour of love and not something we have taken lightly. Many painstaking hours have gone into this project, and now it is time to take a leap of faith and reveal it to you. Most of the work behind this was finished before lockdown commenced, we wanted to wait for the right time – a time when it felt ok to put our passions into something new.

So, we are nervous but excited to finally introduce you to the new look us.

We guess this is who we have always been, it has taken time for us to have the confidence in ourselves to really show you. We hope you will enjoy being part of our latest adventure.

WE ARE GLOAM.

Gloaming

gloam·ing |  ˈglō-miŋ

That fleeting moment just after the sun sets before the sky is completely dark, and when you see everything in a whole new way.

Traditionally used as a noun, here ‘gloam’ has been redefined and reworked into a state of mind and a way of life; creating space to breathe and feel what it means to truly be present in our own lives and invested in our own stories.

Our desire is that our newly defined offering will outlive trends and traditions, instead fusing the real and the raw of the natural world with the magic of modern romance, floristry and artistic endeavour.

To gloam is to lose yourself in those moments of every day beauty and contentment; in the golden hour of sundown and those halcyon newlywed chapters.

Gloam has evolved into a collective of creatives, dreamers, adventurers, romanticists, poets and lovers alike. It’s a celebration of aesthetic harmony and balance; of stories, origins and all the life that can be found under the gloaming sun.

SO NOW WE MOVE FORWARD AS GLOAM…

We have a new name and a new outlook for our work.  Even in these uncertain times, we will be working hard to live and breathe all this change stands for.

On a practical level, all emails will be redirected to our new ones, our new website will be www.gloam.co.uk and our emails will be hello@gloam.co.uk

Our social media feeds will change to @wearegloam over the next few days – it would be so lovely to hear from you during the changes over on Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook. We are likely to be hidden for a wee while after making such a significant change. So please do seek us out.

We can’t wait to share this next part of our adventure with you.

WE BELIEVE IN GIVING BACK TO OUR COMMUNITY

We are delighted to partner with The Make Bank –  a social project which addresses issues associated with creative poverty. They enable disadvantaged young people to pursue creative educations and careers by providing materials, support and inspiration for pupils.
